Police Blotter of the Day: A man in Tennesse was charged with domestic assault after allegedly hurling a ham at his mother.
37-year-old Emanuel Cordell Kennedy told Union City police officers that he didn’t mean to hit his mom, Brenda King, 55, in the back with the pork product. King was not injured in the incident.
Neither the subject of the argument that precipitated the pig-based projectile, nor the size of the ham in question were released.
Kennedy is currently awaiting arraignment in the Obion County jail.
